Bonnie Hirst CPDT-KA
Bonnie is the owner and trainer at Greenacre Dog Agility and Training. Bonnie is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed. She also has certificates in Puppy Class Instructor Level, Loose Leash Walking Instructor Level, Recalls courses, Aggression in Dogs Master dog behaviour course and Pet First Aide and CPR. A member of Pet Professional Guild she has also completed many workshops and attended conferences related to all aspects of dog training. She teaches using Force Free methods and Reward
based training incorporating games into classes. Bonnie also teaches agility classes for fun or for competition. She has competed for 20+ years achieving many titles with her dog Benjamin and competed at National level.
Bonnie has extensive experience raising dogs of different breeds, backgrounds and behaviours. She blends personal experience and education on science based training methods to help clients build a strong bond with their canine family members.

Behavior Consulting
By appointment $80/hour
In home private consults $125/hour. Travel cost apply for distances further than 50 Km.
If your dog needs help with specific behaviour issues we can help you. Please contact us to set up an appointment. Flexible schedule.
We deal with mild to moderate reactivity, resource guarding issues and separation anxiety.
Puppy Essentials Class

Puppy Essentials Plus Class
Reactive Rover Group Class
$200 for 6 weeks sessions.
$150 for 4 week sessions.
$160 for Reactive Rover sessions
Payment is due upon booking.
Puppy Essentials Class for those with puppies under 1 year.
These 6 week classes will consist of relationship building games, boundary training, leash skills, recalls, husbandry (nails and grooming) all taught in a fun games based training style.
Manners Life Skills Class. This 4 week session is designed for older dogs or rescued dogs with little or no training. It includes relationship building games, recall, leash skills and much more.
Puppy Essentials Plus is a 4 week second session to grow your skills from the Puppy Essentials class. P.E. class is required to take this class.
Reactive Rover Class- This is a spectialty group class for dogs that struggle with fear reactivity or over arousal behaviour issues.
Workshops $80/Micro Classes $40
Service Subtitle
We offer 2 hour Workshops on a variety of topics, manners, leash skills and recalls being the most popular. Also new this year are our Micro Classes. These are 1 hour stand alone classes on specfic topics such as Nosework, Senior Enrichment gamess (keep your elder dog fit mentally and physically), Puppy Social hour (learn to read play body language, Recalls, Leash skills, Attention Games (Be the squirrel).
Agility Classes
Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 (4 weeks $125)
Pre-competion and Competition classes available. Club membership is an option post classes.
When fetch just isn't enough
Greenacre specialty. Agility. We have a full set of competition grade equipment for those looking for a fun class with your pup or those who are competition minded. Agility creates an ultra special bond between you and your dog with an added physical fitness benefit for you both.
